Jeju Olle Trail News

Jeju Olle Trail Route 6 has a friendship agreement with the Zermatt in Switzerland and we’ve had a delegation from Zermatt visit the island and Jeju Olle Trail over the last couple of days.

The delegation, including Mayor Christoph Burgin, toured Route 6 and our new tourist center as well as electric facilities related to Jeju’s goal to become a carbon free island by 2030.

September 18 saw them travel to Udo Island (Route 1-1) and inspect the smaller island’s carbon-free progress before taking to the Olle friendship trail on September 19.

The Zermatt area already uses a number of electric vehicles with some exceptions for emergency services.
